1 1/4'' 2S350-35 SUW-35 NC Uni-D Type Solenoid Valve Stainless Steel Body NBR Diaphragm AC220V DC24V

The 2S350-35/SUW-35 is one of our biggest stainless steel valves we currently offer. This valve is a two-way, semi-direct lift valve that operates in a normally closed position. This means that there are two ports in which media flows and the valve will open when the coil is energized to allow media to pass through. Removing the energy from the valve coil will close it and stop the flow. It works across various media such as hot water, air, gas, diesel fuel, Freon, weak acids and weak alkali. The valve features a heavy duty, solid stainless steel body that’s sure to last in the most strenuous projects.


The port size is 1-1/4” inch female threaded. This Solenoid Valve can handle low viscosity fluids below 20 cst. The orifice size is 35mm and the CV value is 24. It requires little to no pressure to function but can withstand pressure up to 7 bar and temperatures as low as -5℃ and as high as +80℃. The seal material is NBR/Nitrile. This valve works in one direction and will not prevent media from moving backwards in the opposite direction.

Safety Note:

Standard valves are supplied with continuous duty coils. The proper class of insulation for the service is indicated on the coil body. The coil temperature may rise significantly if energized for extended periods—this is normal. Although the coil is made of flame retardant material, misuse of the coil could create fire hazards & generate smoke and/or a burning odor. If these conditions are encountered, the coil temperature has risen above safe levels and the power should be disconnected immediately.

Operation:

This valve is a two-way, normally closed, direct-lift valve & does not require a minimum differential pressure to operate. As shown in the diagrams below, when the coil is de-energized the plunger & flexible diaphragm sit on the main valve orifice. The working medium flows through a tiny “bleed orifice” and pressurizes the cavity above the diaphragm — this system pressure, along with the spring force, seals the valve. When the valve is energized the diaphragm is pulled away from the main orifice, allowing fluid to flow through the valve. Since the bleed orifice is dimensionally smaller than the main orifice, the system pressure cannot rebuild on the top of the diaphragm as long as the main orifice remains open.
